Junkyard Watchdog (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information to deliver inventory alerts, manage subscriptions, and improve the Service. We do not sell your data. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

• Account data: email, username, password hash, subscription status.
• Usage data: watchlists, saved vehicles, notification preferences, search filters.
• Device data: push tokens, app version, platform, IP address for security logging.
• Billing data: limited Stripe metadata (customer ID, plan, last four digits). We do not store full payment details.
• Logs: application logs, error reports, and telemetry events used to debug issues.

3. How We Use Information

• Deliver inventory alerts, digests, and other notifications you request.
• Process subscriptions and provide customer support.
• Monitor system performance, detect abuse, and secure the Service.
• Improve features and plan new products using aggregated insights.

4. Sharing

• Service providers: Stripe (billing), Mailgun (email), Expo/FCM/APNs (push notifications), Cloudinary (media storage).
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information to comply with laws or respond to valid legal requests.

5. Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing reasons.

6. Your Rights

• Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing support@junkyardwatchdog.com; our support team triages privacy requests to the right person.
• Update preferences or unsubscribe from emails using the links provided.
• Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights (access, correction, portability). We honour these requests.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), role-based access, and regular security reviews to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; report issues to support@junkyardwatchdog.com and our support team will route them to security.

8. International Transfers

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from another region, you consent to transferring and processing your data in the U.S.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
